States
& Brokers. At Connect Realty,
the Agent associates are the company's
recruiting mechanism. Each
State has a designated broker and an
administrative staff to process agent
applications, the day to day. Some
also sponsor a training center as well.
Coupled with that, local brokerages have
been replaced by real estate teams,
headed by a team leader who also is the
teams recruiter.
Recruiters.
All
associates of Connect Realty have the freedom
to recruit (also known as sponsor) new
agents into the company. This
process is the source of our industry
leading residual income stream.
By becoming a recruiter, you assume the
additional responsibility of being the
team leader for those you recruit.
Exceptions can be made by special
request however, Most recruiters
recruit only within their own geographical
area. Others, have chosen to
recruit in other areas of their State.
Recruiting agents to be part of
your Connect Realty team, can be a major
source of income for agents, providing
they recruit agents who are capable of
closing transactions --- at least 3-4 a
year. Your core team members
should be achieving the industry average
of 6 sales a year. While you
should also have a smaller segment of
your team who achieve over 50% of your
teams overall business. You can
expect to also have a small segment of
agents who are struggling and may need
some assistance and understanding at the
same time.
Team
Leaders.
Being a team
leader is a serious responsibility.
As such, you are assuming a committment
to train, motivate, and lead your team
by example. Team leaders have
total freedom to who to recruit or not
to recruit into their team.
The more successful team leader
will have exceptional leadership,
communications, and inter-personal
relationship skills; capable of
balancing their time and effort to
achieving their own personal goals,
while also supporting the needs of the
team members.
The team leader needs to be able
to delegate responsibility to others,
and to literally train others to be team
leaders themselves. The team
leader needs to be capable of reacting
to immediate situations in a
professional expedient way.
The team leader needs to be pro-active
and be the teams most enthusiastic
cheerleader; a team leader thinks out of
the box and surrounds themselves with
people loyal to the team, and loyal to
the team building mission.
As a matter of
setting some
expectations for
your team, your
team typically
will consist of
various
production
levels:
New agents (5%) of
your team (with mentoring) - 4-6
annual sales
Experienced Agents
(10%) of your team - 1-6 annual sales
Experienced Agents (35%) of your team -
6-10 annual sales
Experienced Agents
(35%) of your team - 10-20 annual sales
Experienced Agents
(10%) of your team - 20-30 annual
sales
Experienced Agents
(5%) of your team - 30+ annual
sales
